Alejandro Beltrán is a Senior Partner in McKinsey’s Madrid office and leads our work across the Iberian Península. Since joining McKinsey in 1998, he has worked with leading Spanish and international corporations, particularly on strategy and corporate finance, and has advised key public institutions on macroeconomic and policy issues.
In recent years, Alejandro has been closely involved in McKinsey’s efforts to support banks and advise government bodies and leading private companies in the wake of the financial and economic crisis. He has also helped prepare roadmaps to address several of the main issues facing the country, including transforming the healthcare and education systems.
Alejandro co-leads McKinsey’s Corporate Finance Practice in Europe, and has advised on several of the largest financial transactions in Spain. He has wide experience in private equity, as well as in portfolio management for large corporations. He is also part of the leadership teams of McKinsey’s Infrastructure and Public Sector practices in Europe.
Outside McKinsey, Alejandro is a board member of several non-profit organizations, including the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain and the Sanitas Foundation.
