Graduated in BA, Fuencisla starts her career in the Retail world in Continente (Promodes company bought by Carrefour in 2000). After her MBA at IESE in 2000 she joined McKinsey&Co, where she spent 7 years providing strategic advice to Telecom, Marketing and Retail companies in Spain and France.
In 2007 Fuencisla joined Carrefour as Homeware Director, in charge of sales and purchasing functions for the whole network in Spain (160 Hypermarkets, ~100 supermarkets).
She jumped into the online world in March 2009 when she joined Google as Retail and FMCG Industry Leader in Spain. Since then, she has been supporting different industries in their migration to the internet and leading the Mobile initiative in Google Spain.
Fuencisla has been involved in company balanced gender initiatives since 2002 when she co-lead the McKinsey Women initiative. She is currently leading the Networking stream of this initiative within Google.
In November 2016 she was appointed Country Manager for Google in Spain and Portugal.
